At the conclusion of the National High School Finals rodeo, NCHS can be proud of the two national qualifiers that represented Team Wyoming in Gillette, Wyoming, July 18-25. The city of Gillette increased its population by over 6,000 for the duration of the rodeo.

Local cowboys and cowgirls helped California's high school rodeo team take fourth place at the National Finals July 18-24 in Gillette Wyoming. The boy's team, featuring Woodlake's Justin Lawrence, finished in second place behind Texas.
